Audio/Visual Technology Support
Academic Classroom Support consists of 188 Smart Classrooms and lecture halls throughout the CSUF campus. These classrooms can be used by all the 8 colleges therefore they are called General-Use Smart Classrooms.
Academic Classroom Support owns, maintains, and services all classroom equipment. To ensure longevity and proper functioning of all equipment and for the safety of faculty and staff, Academic Classroom Support respectfully requests that all maintenance and service issues be handled solely by the technicians of Academic Classroom Support. Outside technicians may not be familiar with the delicate intricacies of Academic Classroom's equipment and are discouraged from attempting to provide service for any such equipment.

To Obtain Key to a Classroom
Print and take the certificate offered at the end of the training presentation along with a photo ID to the Academic Technology Center (ATC) on the 2nd floor of Pollak Library PLS-237. Please be sure to indicate the classroom(s) in which you are teaching to ensure you will be issued the proper key(s).
If a faculty or staff employee has previously completed training, there is no need to complete the training presentation again. Additional keys to access equipment cabinets in other buildings are available at the ATC in PLS-237 with your photo ID.
To replace a missing key, the instructor must file a lost key report with University Police and pay the fine for the missing key. The instructor can then bring copies of these documents to the ATC in PLS-237 to obtain replacement keys.
